University of Malaga, lighting in study spaces

The lighting of the extension of the library of the faculty of education sciences at the University of Malaga was conceived in close collaboration with architects Maria José Márquez Coqué Ballesteros and Manuel Rafael García López. The idea was to provide functional lighting for a large double-height space.

In search of discreet lighting with a linear design, Indeluz Lighting's FENIX, luminaire was installed, with a neutral colour temperature. A customised solution was created for this space. The library of the University of Malaga has a great height and the length of conventional suspension cables did not suit the space, therefore, the luminaire was installed with suspension cables longer than 5m.

This luminaire is characterised by a minimalist style that integrates perfectly into modern spaces. The main objective of this project was to achieve the appropriate lighting levels for a studio space.

Below, we show you the final result, as you can see, the FENIX luminaire is perfectly integrated into the architecture of the space.
